The Ferrari 365 GT4 BB (Berlinetta Boxer) of 1973-1976 introduced the mid-engine flat-12 layout to Ferrari's flagship road car range, replacing the front-engined 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Named for its horizontally-opposed (Boxer) twelve-cylinder engine producing 380hp from 4.4 litres, the GT4 BB featured dramatic Pininfarina bodywork inspired by the company's Can-Am racing programme.
