Ordering & stock
Are the models genuine?
Yes. Every model is an original product from the stated manufacturer — AUTOart, Minichamps, Norev, Solido, Bburago, Maisto, CMC, Spark and others — supplied in its original packaging.
Is the item in stock?
Stock is shown on each product page. If an item is listed, it is available to order.
Can I add a custom licence plate?
Yes, on models that offer it. Choose the option on the product page and enter the text you want before adding the model to your basket.
Shipping
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship from Lithuania to customers worldwide.
How long does dispatch take?
Orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours (1 business day) of payment confirmation. Orders placed at weekends or on public holidays are processed the next business day.
How long will delivery take?
- Lithuania — 1–2 business days
- Europe — 3–5 business days
- United Kingdom — 5–8 business days
- United States & Canada — 5–12 business days
- Asia — 5–10 business days
- Oceania — 4–12 business days
- South America — 4–12 business days
- Africa — 5–15 business days
Times are estimates from dispatch and may be affected by customs or local postal services.
How much is shipping?
Free worldwide tracked shipping on orders over €150. Below that, a flat tracked rate is calculated at checkout based on your destination and order weight. See the Shipping Policy for full details.
Which couriers do you use?
DHL Express for express international, Lithuanian Post for standard international tracked, and DPD or GLS within Europe. The carrier depends on your destination and the method chosen at checkout.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes — every shipment is tracked. You will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number and link once your order ships. If you have no tracking within 2 business days, contact us.
Will I pay customs or import duty?
Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, VAT or import taxes set by the destination country. These are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping cost. We declare all items at full commercial value and cannot mark parcels as gifts.
How are models packed?
In foam padding and reinforced boxes, so they arrive in collector-grade condition.
Returns & refunds
What is your return policy?
You have 60 days from receiving your item to request a return. The model must be unused, in the same condition you received it, with tags and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.
I am in the EU — do I have extra rights?
Yes. For shipments into the European Union you may cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without justification, in addition to the above.
How do I start a return?
Email sales@modelcarplanet.com first. If accepted, we send a return label and instructions. Items sent back without requesting a return first cannot be accepted.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive and inspect the return we will tell you whether it is approved. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days; your bank may take longer to post it. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us.
What if it arrives damaged?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and the packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund promptly.
What if my parcel is lost?
Check the tracking, then your local post office. If still missing, contact us with your order number. If the courier confirms the parcel is lost we will replace or refund it in full at no cost. Claims must be made within 60 days of the estimated delivery date.
What cannot be returned?
Custom and personalised items (including models with custom plates), sale items and gift cards.
